Hilary uses human-centered communication to build relationships and create genuine connections across differences.

As an experienced storyteller, Hilary enjoys creating communications that connect with an array of audiences, whether that's through fine-tuning email subject lines, crafting compelling blog posts, interviewing community members, or more. They joined GiveMN in 2023 with a strong background in nonprofit work and relationship building, having worked on the grants team for Project for Pride in Living and as a podcast producer for the East Side Freedom Library’s Housing Justice team. As GiveMN’s Communications & Digital Content Manager, Hilary is committed to connecting nonprofits across Minnesota with the resources they need to thrive.

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Hilary came to the Twin Cities in 2019 to earn a bachelor’s degree in media & cultural studies from Macalester College. When not engaging GiveMN's audience, she enjoys reading, discovering new albums, and making weird recipes found through Instagram Reels.
