Clean River Partners

Clean River Partners is a grassroots environmental nonprofit that has partnered with people and organizations in the Cannon River Watershed for more than 35 years to help them take action for clean water.

So what does that mean? Well, it varies depending on who you are and where you live in the watershed. 

• On Your Farm: We promote conservation practices that protect water quality, improve soil health, and support sustainable farming.
• With Your Land: We partner with organizations and landowners to preserve land, restore critical habitat, and increase public access.
• In Your Community: We connect people to the river and each other through community events, volunteer experiences, and education.

At Clean River Partners, our role is to bring people to the table. We convene conversations, learn from what’s already working, and support ideas that grow into lasting change.

Our work has always been rooted in partnership. We collaborate with local organizations, government agencies, and neighbors like you—people who show up to plan projects, host community events, and get their hands dirty alongside us to protect our watershed.
