Help Youth Go Beyond the Bell

At YWCA Minneapolis, we know that young people's need for safety, connection and academic challenge doesn't end when class is dismissed. Yet when the school day ends, many youth lose access to caring mentors and opportunities to grow. 

Now, there's even more at stake. 

Federal funding for YWCA Minneapolis youth programs has been cut for next year. Without new support, thousands of young people could lose access to the out-of-school programs that help them thrive. 

That’s why we’ve set a goal to raise $75,000. Your gift today helps preserve YWCA Minneapolis’ out-of-school programs—keeping young people learning, leading and feeling a sense of belonging. 

Thanks to a generous donor, every gift will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000.

Strong, Fast, Fit: Youth ages 7-17 build lifelong wellness habits that strengthen physical and emotional well-being.  

YWCA Beacons: Turns schools into spaces for leadership and belonging.

Contact Plus: Equips youth with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their bodies, relationships and futures.

Youth in Action: Guides students from the classroom to the Capitol, where participants take action for lasting change. 

Eureka!: A five-year STEM program that helps girls and gender-expansive youth see themselves as future scientists, engineers and innovators.
