Mission Statement
To enrich our quality of life by connecting the resources of today with the dreams for tomorrow.

Grant total since inception (including grants made for operating expenses): $155,676

Fiscal Year 2019 Awarded grants totaling: $20,354, including:

A.C.E. of Southwest Minnesota to raise awareness through education, advocacy and connecting those experiencing memory loss to health, social and spiritual services in the Marshall community

Advance Opportunities to collect and refurbish donated laptops and computers to empower low income families with technology in their homes

ISD #413 - Marshall to implement ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) training and purchase books, along with 2-story fire escape ladders for the high school and West Side Elementary

Marshall Area YMCA to create a Saturday destination for the Marshall Farmer’s Market that will serve all regardless of age, social-economic status, native language or ethnic culture

Marshall Food4Kids to expand the weekend snack bags to children in the 7th and 8th grade

Marshall-Lyon County Library to fund a Toy Lending Library as a service to the Marshall community 

Open Door Health Center to purchase portable dental equipment for quality outreach services to children at the Marshall Public Schools 

Southwest Minnesota State University Foundation to sponsor the first annual Women’s Leadership Conference 

Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council to enhance community wellness

with the purchase of two laptops to use during client intake to assess needs

for additional community resources and provide appropriate referrals

United Community Action Partnership to help fund group leadership development activities with high school girls, including weekly meetings and college visits

Women’s Rural Advocacy Programs, Inc. to purchase materials for the resource room in the Marshall office and items to meet the immediate needs of someone in crisis
