Kristin Taunton's Miles for Smiles

Dear Family and Friends,

For a few years now, Cherie and I have been keeping an informal travel “bucket list”. One of the trips on our wish list has been walking a portion of the El Camino Trail in Spain. We have heard quite a lot about it from our Delta co-workers who have made the trek.

As luck would have it, an opportunity for this one-of-a-kind adventure has come our way! A couple of months ago, Cherie’s neighbor told her about a trip she was making to Spain to hike the El Camino Trail through Smile Network International. We attended the informational meeting at Smile Network and found out what a fantastic opportunity this trip is. We will be making the trip this September.

This is not one of their surgical missions, but rather a fundraising event for the Smile Network which also serves as a fabulous trip for me. I will pay ALL of my own expenses for the trip while committing to fundraise for Smile Network. Every cent I raise will go to Smile Network for their surgical missions.

You all know about Smile Network and have donated previously so I don’t feel the need to give you additional information on Smile Network.

Donations of any amount are welcome, and no donation is too small. Our goal is to raise more than $2,500.  Some companies provide matching funds, so your contribution could double.
