Tweety is participating in a sailboat regatta in Duluth MN in honor of Kai Hoenig and co-sponsored by Trans Northland, a local organization described in more detail below. Donations will go in support of LGBTQ+ youth in the area.
Trans Northland is a 501c3 registered non-profit providing support, resources, and community to the transgender community in the Northland. In the first 5 months of 2026 Trans Northland has already served over 3,000 individuals and family members! They host community events, drop in center hours, and peer support groups. Trans Northland recently created a Gender-Affirming Healthcare Coalition, and has big plans for a community center that would be home to additional programming and services for the trans and gender expansive community in the Twin Ports area.
