While a remote team, we were founded in Minnesota—the land of 10,000 lakes (okay, technically 11,842—but we love getting the details right). Our name comes from an actual lake near Ely, Minnesota—Lake One. It’s a gateway into the Boundary Waters, and for us, it represents the start of something bigger. A journey.
