Zumbro Valley Chorus 60th Anniversary

Zumbro Valley Chorus in Rochester, MN, is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International. Sweet Adelines is the largest women's singing organization in the world with over 27,000 members globally. The mission of Zumbro Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines is to share our love of singing four-part barbershop harmony and provide friendship, music education and performance opportunities for our members.  We sing classic jazz and popular tunes from the 1930's to today's modern tunes. We focus on the entertainment factor in all our performances including costuming, choreography, musical commentary and props in our performance packages. Our performances are fun and entertaining. We perform frequently in the Rochester area at schools, community events, private parties and events.

We are making plans to celebrate our 60 anniversary next year with multiple outreach events to communities in southern Minnesota and a capstone concert in September 2026. These events will include not only music but also a historical review of the history of barbershop music, Sweet Adelines, and Zumbro Valley Chorus.
