Bemidji Early Childhood Collaborative

BECC promotes healthy development and support for children ages 0-5 and their families in the greater Bemidji community. BECC programs have served 2,767 children and families and 574 early childhood professionals in 2023-2025.

Two of BECC's longest-running programs/events are MAP (Movement and Play) and our annual Tiny Tots Health & Wellness Fair. Both have always been free to participants.

MAP serves an average of 80 participants every week and provides developmentally appropriate play spaces and equipment.

Tiny Tots provides access to community resources as well as prizes and activities specifically geared to young children & families, and attendance is upwards of 600 people.
