For the last 7 years, I've had the honor of serving as the Executive Director of FFEN. This is the organization that I wish existed when I was local food shelf manager!
FFEN serves as a valued and trusted partner for food shelf leaders across the state. We don't provide food, we provide expertise and a third-party perspective to help food shelves navigate change.
As food shelf visits surge, FFEN comes alongside food shelf leaders, helping them re-think how they can serve with dignity while creating efficiencies to meet the increased demand for food.
FFEN helps overwhelmed food shelf leaders through improved operations, training, resources and access to data. When you support FFEN, you fuel the strategy behind 300 food shelves in Minnesota serving 375,000 food shelf visits each month.

- Support and sustain overwhelmed food shelf leaders navigating surging demand and limited staff.
- Ensure consistent access to fresh, healthy foods through smarter sourcing and logistics support.
- Stabilize operations at food shelves and reduce food interruptions with prompt technical support and on-site assessments that allow leaders to continue serving their communities.
