How We're Helping Deaf Families Recover

The Deaf Gain Innovations Program (DGIP) is a proven workforce training and job placement program with a 75% employment success rate. Since 2020, we've trained and placed Deaf workers in sustainable, competitive jobs with mentorship and support.

Our emergency response: We're fast-tracking training for 50 Deaf families impacted by the metro surge, placing them in jobs with full communication access, employer training, and ongoing support.

What DGIP Provides:

• 6-month paid apprenticeships (with 6-month extensions available)
• ASL-fluent job coaches for mentorship & communication access
• Employer training on Deaf worker accommodations
• Emergency financial stipends during training
• Transportation support & childcare assistance
• Mental health & financial counseling
• Literacy support (English/ASL)
