It is almost impossible to put into words the love I have for the Haitian people and the service that World Wide Village does there. A pastor once told me, “we are blessed to be a blessing”.... how are you being a blessing today? In this holiday season, many of us will gather with our families inside a warm home with a delicious spread and celebrate together... unfortunately many around the world do not have that luxury. Instead, they share their one bowl of beans and rice on a concrete floor among the family. THIS is why I give... THIS is what draws me to these people...because not only have they experienced tragedy and devastation time and time again and not only do they live a life of hardship, but they face it with humble hearts and a LOVE for one another that I can’t begin to explain. I don’t know why they have to experience so much suffering, but I do know that my God has called me to love them and to serve them with humility and an open heart. Today I am asking you to join me in blessing them... the money raised today will allow thousands of women to receive cervical cancer screening... it will provide goats to families in need.... and it will ensure a warm, nutritious meal for hundreds of kids as they work hard in school.  Let me ask again, how are you going to be a blessing today?
