LNA 2022 Walk-a-Thon!

Sponsor an LNA walker as they walk for seven days straight! 

Taking place from Sunday, May 1st until Saturday, May 7th, LNA walkers will be walking around the Lyndale Neighborhood in shifts of 2 hours for 7 total days! This is LNA's second annual Walk-a-Thon and is an initiative led by the Crime and Safety Committee: an LNA committee who focuses on community safety issues affecting the Lyndale Neighborhood and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors related to community safety and programs/projects impacting the neighborhood. The LNA/Crime and Safety Committee neighborhood walkers have existed for decades and their activities range from planning walks to organizing "Waves of Thankfulness"--a initiative where they deliver thank you cards around the neighborhood for Thanksgiving--to organizing the annual Walk-a-Thon.

All proceeds go to support the Lyndale Neighborhood Association as we organize other community events and initiatives including Lyndale and Zion Church Community Dinners, English as a Second Language Classes, climate initiatives, amongst many other events.
