GIVE OUT DAY 2021 - Jeanne A's Donation Page

I give because it is estimated that 40% of homeless youth are LGBTQ+ and every young person should have a safe place to sleep. As a member of the volunteer-led steering committee, I vote with other volunteers on all funds granted to partner agencies. We provide grants that empower agencies in the 9 county metro area to expand their services and programming for LGBTQ+ youth. 

In the early 1990's, my mom stood up in her church to remind her church family that LGBTQ+ community members should be cared for and welcomed. She stood alone. Unfortunately, many LGBTQ+ youth are not cared for or welcomed by their families in 2021 for the very reason that my mom stood alone 30 years ago. Your donation on GIVE OUT DAY 2021 will provide resources for the services and programs that support LGBTQ+ homeless youth.
