HPAAC supports the Arts and Culture in our area

HPAAC was founded in 2008 when a group of citizens decided that the arts were important in the life of our communities. HPAAC introduced events and programs for all types of artists and audiences in our communities. Today, the goals of HPAAC are two-fold: we organize our own programs and events and we collaborate with community organizations that believe the arts are essential in both the Hastings and Prescott communities. HPAAC is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to developing opportunities to create and make the arts accessible to everyone.

We are proud to support many arts related causes in the Hastings -Prescott area. Some examples include art and music Scholarships for students, Tuesday Coffee Concerts, Black Dirt Theatre, Sod House Theatre, Lumin Theatre Lab, Summer SPARK Program, Orange Dragon Art Gallery, Railway Art Gallery, River Valley Band, Building Remembrance for Reconciliation, The Longer Table, Seussical the Musical, Third Coast Percussion Residency, Dallas Brass Band Residency, Maria Bournaki Residency, the Hmong "Seeds for Change" Art Exhibit, and Annual Local Arts Heroes recognitions.
