Thousands of babies go without or wear soiled diapers every day in MN

1 in 2  families experience diaper need. We want to change that.

Babies without clean diapers are exposed to more potential health risks  including severe diaper rash resulting in painful burning skin.

Families without enough diapers for their babies are less likely accepted to child care centers, because most child cares require one week’s supply of diapers -  a daunting amount for families struggling to make ends meet. Babies need between 6 - 12 diapers per day, at a cost of $70 - $80 per month. 

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) funds or food stamps CANNOT be used to purchase diapers.  There are no assistance programs to help babies get diapers they critically need. 

Your dollars go a long way. As members of the National Diaper Bank Network, we are able to purchase diapers at a discounted price, allowing us to purchase many more diapers for babies. 

Diapers are critical to the physical and emotional health of infants.   Help babies in the Twin Cities metro area get a healthy start and donate to the The Diaper Bank of MN. Help us end diaper need and  make sure every baby bottom is covered. 

The Diaper Bank of MN had its grassroots beginning in the Twin Cities in May of 2010, due to the critical need for diapers for babies. Since our launch, we have distributed over 1,000,000 diapers to babies in need.

We are a 501c3 Nonprofit diaper bank that works with the public to collect and distribute diapers for ages 0-4 to families in need.
