Palomar Twin Cities Love Is Kind Fundraiser

Tuesday, July 27th is National Love is Kind Day!

As Palomar employees, please donate to Tubman help them support our community.

Tubman helps people of all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds who have experienced relationship violence, elder abuse, addiction, sexual exploitation or other forms of trauma.

Throughout the Twin Cities, and for over 40 years, Tubman has provided safe shelter, legal services, mental and chemical health counseling, youth programming, and community education, including public information campaigns to provide community members the information and support they need to get help or give help.

Here are some examples of how the money will be used:

$45 – covers the cost of a housing application

$150 – to change locks so a family can feel safe in their home

$300 – pays for storage so a family can keep their belongings while staying in shelter

$500 – covers utility costs freeing up other resource for rent or mortgage

$700 – for an Order for Protection so that a family can safely remain in their home

$1500 – for a security deposit or first month’s rent in a new apartment
