After a year and a half of virtual learning, the transition back to in-person has been a challenge for students and teachers. But STEM education is a positive force amidst these challenges.
A staff member from one of our host sites told us that their students have had little to no desire to engage with any classes this year. However, they observed that in our robotics program students were excited and eager to be involved!
In a year of educational challenges, providing students with something that will engage and encourage them to learn is critical. You can be a part of it!
At createMPLS we remove the barriers of cost, transportation and awareness that prevent students in underrepresented communities from being a part of STEM programs. This fall we've expanded from 1 host site to 8, and need your help in providing these new students with the proper equipment. You can join us today in providing accessible and engaging technology programs for all students!
