Loft Fundraiser

Hi! I'm Martin, the sole organizer of this quaint fundraiser. I am raising money for the Loft as part of an awareness campaign for my senior project in high school.

Now, I'm not just doing this for a grade--though that certainly is part of it--as the better part of my motives rest with something more refined and human than a letter on a report card. You see, I love literature. I love words in general because of how funny I think they can be at times, and I love words because of how they may move and stir the soul--the abstraction of language resonating with a reader, becoming deeply personal to them, yet connecting them to the author of those words. That may sound like a load of highfalutin nonsense to anyone who hasn't picked up a book unless they were told do so, but I only wish to express my love for literature, and I hope I may get that across to you.

I wish for everyone to appreciate literature, or at the very least enable those who are already interested to progress their interest further into a passion and perhaps an artistic undertaking.

Seeing as the Loft and my own desires were aligned, I had decided to support the Loft with my awareness campaign and this fundraiser so that literature in Minnesota may continue to thrive!
