GiveOUT to Arise Project!

June 30, 2021 is GiveOUT Day, a day exclusively created for the many incredible organizations providing support and resources to the LGBTQ community. As you may know, I am on the board of the GTCUW Arise Project, where we work with amazing local agencies who provide services to Twin Cities LGBTQ youth experiencing housing instability. You also may know that after a long engagement (unintended...thanks, COVID!), my fiancee Megan and I are getting married in September. The very first item on our wedding registry is a donation to the Arise Project--that's how much I believe in this. I am calling on my friends, family, co-workers, and community to show up for our youth on GiveOUT Day so we can continue to support these youth year-round.

My goal this year is to raise $1,500 for the Arise Project, and I will match the first $200 in donations to get us there. Now--more than ever--we need to create safe spaces and places for our LGBTQ youth. Join me!
