MV "Week of Giving" for Ralph Reeder

This year for Mounds View "Week of Giving", we are spotlighting Ralph Reeder Food Shelf on Thursday and Friday.  We know how important it is to help Ralph Reeder especially around the Holidays.  So many of our community families get help to have a healthy and nutritious meal.  Over 2200 people (900 families) are currently accessing their services each month and while things have slowed down since the onset of the pandemic, they are still seeing many new families each week and giving out between 65,000 and 75,000 pounds of food each month. With the holidays around the corner, they are gearing up for another increase in demand for their services. 

Seven Mounds View Student Groups: DECA, Student Council, Unicef, Soror, H.E.A.R.T., National Honors Society, and Diversity Council have been planning and organizing this week-long event for our school.  Students are competing for a free lunch provided by Cane's, Famous Daves, Jimmy John's, and Chick-Fil-A.  The 4th hour class that raises the most donations will win the lunch on the following day.  If you are willing to help us out, please write your students' 4th hour teacher in the comments and the amount you donated in the comments  so we know which group it will go towards.  If you don't have a student attending Mounds View, we would still appreciate your donation so very much!
