Bucket Brigade is all about telling new stories. Stories that remind us– we’re not alone.

Like our new musical, Big Little Monster- an encouragement to all of us who deal with fear and anxiety that we’re not the only ones.

“Hilarious, masterful, and so much truth. Big, Little Monster needs to go on the road.” -Audience Member

And our Summer Theater Camp original entitled, You’re Not Alone, written and performed by students who bravely shared what’s on their mind and in their heart.

“We’re letting people know that… even though they may feel like they’re the only person going through this specific thing, there are other people going through it, and… if others can do it, they can too.” - Student Theater Camper

We believe telling these stories is important. And we can’t do it alone.

Join the brigade! Your tax deductible will provide scholarships to students so they can attend our Summer Theater Camps, to be empowered to express themselves thoughtfully and imaginatively.

And your generous gift will help us take our new hit musical, Big, Little Monster on the road to schools and libraries throughout the state to encourage kids and families.

Help us reach our year-end-goal of $10,000. Because telling these stories is a reminder, giving is a reminder, doing this good work together is a reminder– that we’re not alone.

___________________________________

We’re not alone– Each year we work with over thirty talented, big-hearted Twin Cities artists to tell new stories and teach and inspire over forty brave students to help them tell their stories.

We’re not alone– This year we’re bringing on a part-time Operations Manager, Nathan Cousins, and Patron Services Manager, Marijka Muras, to add to our growing team.

We’re not alone- Over 250 generous donors have helped us continue this good work since we started Bucket Brigade in 2010.

We’re not alone– We partner with amazing organizations and businesses in our West 7th Saint Paul neighborhood: Art House North (our venue for performances and summer camps), Brake Bread (our local bakery who makes cupcakes each year for our musical, ’Til Death, and where we do our monthly Story Time event where we read children’s books aloud), Good Turn Coffee, Yoke Fitness, Soapy Joes’, and Saint Vincent’s (neighborhood sponsors who support our work), and Insty Prints on West 7th (where we do all our printing). We love partnering with and supporting all the good folks doing good work in our neighborhood.

(Bucket Brigade is a fiscally sponsored program of Springboard for the Arts – a non-profit that provides sponsorship for arts groups that do not want (or are not ready) to become tax-exempt nonprofit organizations. In other words, they make it possible for groups like us to receive tax-deductible grants and donations as we grow.)
