In memory of Eddie Slinger

Our son Eddie was born with a congenital heart defect (CHD) called Total Anomolous Pulminory Venous Return (TAPVR) on August of 2023. His condition was more severe than anticipated and he underwent open heart surgery 19hrs after birth. Eddie was a warrior and fought hard for 48 days, until his body could no longer fight. He was able to be loved and comforted, meeting his parents,siblings, aunts/uncles, and grandparents before he left us for heaven. 

Halos of the St. Croix Valley was an enormous support during Eddie's end of life and funeral arrangements. They sent a photographer to the hospital to take pictures of our final moments, take hand and foot molds, provided guidance and financial support for his funeral arrangements.  I couldn't imagine going through this without them for their amazing support. It's truly an amazing organization. No parent should have to deal with the additional stress (financial, planning,etc) of a funeral on top of losing their child. Halos was incredible. We are happy to support them any way we can so that other families can have the same support we did.
