Mobile Hope is invested in seeing mobile home communities, and the families who live there respected and empowered to achieve their goals.

Our Mission: To honor God by building relationships, hope, and a culture of achievement within mobile home communities through education, healthy activities, resource connections, and faith development.

Mobile Hope has a small computer lab in our Hope Center to provide tutoring and support with schoolwork to children in K-12. Through the After-School Homework Help program, we provide consistent support for students to complete their homework with a caring adult.

Due to COVID-19, access to the Hope Center has been limited leaving many families and their children without the usual support from mentors in our Homework Help program.  Required distance learning has made access to technology and the computer lab more important than ever.

We’re seeing families who were already struggling face even more challenges such as reduced public transportation options, reduced work hours, and children needing online learning support when families have limited access to computers or internet.  For many, English is not their first language and that can make assisting their students even more difficult.

We have been working closely with the teachers at our local schools to provide additional support, both virtual and on-site, to students and families.  After the initial phase of assistance, we hope to continue to leverage our relationship with the school district to provide 4 weeks of on-site summer school in August.

However, with the current situation and additional safety measures, the needs are greater than the capacity of our small computer lab. To meet this need in a socially distanced manner, we are hoping to purchase more computers and heavy-duty outdoor resin picnic tables to create outdoor “work spaces” for children to be able to access internet and get support in completing school objectives.

Will you help us reach our goal of $9,000 to help purchase the necessary computers and heavy-duty outdoor resin tables?

Thank you for your donation of any size. You can provide hope to children and families through supporting their education!
