Wayzata Education Fund - "Thank a Teacher" Campaign
Project for Minnesota Community Foundation

Honor a Special Teacher and Support Innovative Teaching

Our new “Thank a Teacher” program allows families to honor special teachers and staff members throughout the Wayzata district, while helping to fund grants awarded to staff every year!

The Wayzata Education Fund provides grants to Wayzata School District teachers and staff for innovative projects that benefit hundreds of students each year.  These grants are awarded to all grade levels, impacting students from Kindergarten to high school.  This year alone, almost $40,000 was granted to district teachers to carry out their innovative ideas in the classroom.

When you donate in honor of a teacher, coach or other staff member, your recipient will be presented with a certificate of appreciation with the donor’s name included.  Gifts of any amount are appreciated, but when giving reaches $25, a special treat will be delivered to your chosen recipient, thanks to a generous donation from the Minnetonka, “Nothing Bundt Cakes” store.  (“Bundlets” will be included with all donations made by June 4, 2017.)

Complete the donation form on this page to send your appreciation!

IMPORTANT: Please note the teacher or staff member you wish to honor and school (if known) in the "Tribute or Memorial Dedication" field on the donation form.

Year-end gratitude gifts will be delivered by June 8th.

Thank you for your generous donation and support of the Wayzata Education Fund!
