Big-World Focus with Small-School Attention
In 2013 we celebrate 10 years as a Primary Years
Programme, as designated by the prestigious International Baccalaureate
organization. This means our students think globally – all receive Mandarin
Chinese instruction, for example – as they inquire: learning to ask questions,
explore issues hands-on, and take action to solve problems. The small size of
our school makes room for lots of personal attention, and our teachers take
warm interest and pride in their students. We offer specialized coursework in
science, art and physical education; enrichment activities could include band,
choir, theater, dance, Lego League, Lego Robotics, Destination Imagination,
special-interest research teams and clubs.
We’re a school of approximately 400 students, located in the beautiful Highland Park neighborhood of St. Paul. As a citywide option school, we welcome students from all over the area and we love our diverse community of learners. The size of our school allows us to give students true personal attention while bringing a global perspective to education with the IB-PYP curriculum.
Your donation will help provide Highland Park students with supplies, tools and learning opportunities beyond the exceptional curriculum they already receive. Thank you for considering a gift to our school.
