Sisters of the Order of St Benedict

“Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to all creation.” Mark16:15

Question: What does that Gospel command mean for the Sisters of Saint Benedict’s Monastery, St. Joseph, Minnesota, in 2016?

Answer: Bringing Gospel and Benedictine values to others through outreach ministries -- values like awareness of God, hospitality, service to others and listening to their concerns.

We do this through outreach ministries, such as:

·         Girls God and Good Times Catholic, Benedictine summer camps

·         Benedictine Women Service Corps, enabling recent college graduates to spend a year of service in area of need

·         Oblate program which enables lay women and men to deepen their spiritual life in association with the monastery
