MNK9SS (Minnesota K9 Search Specialists) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to locating the missing and saving lives through the specialized training and deployment of search and rescue canines.

As the canine entity for Minnesota Task Force 1 (MNTF-1), the State of Minnesota’s Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team, our volunteers train year-round to prepare for local, state, and national emergencies. Our canine teams are certified to FEMA/SUSAR standards and ready to deploy for disaster response, structural collapse, wilderness searches, and missing-person incidents.

Every training, certification, and deployment is done by volunteers, who dedicate thousands of hours and personal resources to serve Minnesota communities. Your support helps provide critical resources, ensuring that no call for help goes unanswered.
