The Mark 5:19 Project

What is Mark 5:19? Jesus saying to a newly healed man, "Go home to your own people and tell them what the Lord in his mercy has done for you."

The Mark 5:19 Project is a newer Catholic nonprofit that focuses on making parish renewal a lived reality. Through consulting, education, speaking, retreats, and resources, we foster thriving and apostolic parishes throughout the Minnesota and beyond.

We have worked consulting and offering discipleship retreats with parishes in Winona, Rochester, Fairmont, La Crescent, Austin, and White Bear Lake. We have worked with the Dioceses of Winona-Rochester, New Ulm, and soon--Duluth. We have offered educational missionary discipleship events for our Catholic neighboring dioceses in Wisconsin, Iowa, and South Dakota.

We believe every parish can be an evangelizing parish that loves those in spiritual and material need. Our mission is to help you recover and rediscover how to implement that mission in your locality--through families, neighborhoods, and communities (hence Mark 5:19, go home and tell....).

We have worked with Catholic communities large and small across Minnesota. But we can only do so with your help. We do not want cost to be a barrier to any parish striving to better conform it's life to the mission of Jesus Christ! Your support allows us to keep our pricing lower, and accessible to parishes of all means. 

We are asking all who want to see thriving Catholic parishes in our lifetime to "give us a tip" of $5 through this 2025 Give to the Max MN campaign. We know there are a lot of needs out there. We are grateful for your support at any level.
