International Kindness Reset (IKR) is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2023 by two experienced and passionate educators with a simple but powerful belief: kindness can be intentionally taught, nurtured, and woven into the fabric of everyday life. Our mission is to help children, families, educators, and communities build a more compassionate world through research-based educational programs, practical tools, and international collaboration.

At the heart of our work is Connect with Kindness—an innovative, child-generated, teacher-friendly SEL curriculum developed for four age groups spanning PreK through Grade 12. Aligned with CASEL and the EASEL Project competencies, these curricula help children strengthen empathy, compassion, gratitude, responsibility, and positive relationships through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. The materials have been piloted internationally and continue to support educators in schools across multiple countries.

Recognizing that kindness begins at home, we also created Connect with Kindness at Home, a practical guide for parents and caregivers that helps families build daily habits of kindness, stronger relationships, and emotional well-being. The guide is available on Amazon.com in English, Spanish, and Italian, making these resources accessible to families across cultures.

Beyond curricula, IKR has developed practical frameworks that help organizations transform their culture. We work with schools to become Kindness Schools, where kindness becomes the accepted norm of everyday behavior rather than an occasional activity. We are expanding these same principles to help create Kindness Families, Kindness Cities, Kindness Care Facilities, and other Kindness Institutions, fostering environments where empathy, belonging, and human flourishing become part of daily life.

Today, International Kindness Reset partners with educators, schools, universities, and community organizations in multiple countries, helping thousands of children and adults experience the transformative power of kindness. Every donation enables us to develop new educational resources, train educators, expand our international partnerships, and bring evidence-based kindness initiatives to more schools, families, and communities.

Together, we can make kindness the new normal.
