About our Companion Walk

Once a year animal lovers come together for one of our most important fundraisers. Held along the beautiful Mississippi River at Wilson Park in St. Cloud from
9am-1pm on September 11th, our 1k and 5k walks are led by the Benton County Mounted Patrol at 10am. From 9-1pm, participants can enjoy food, games for people and pets, crafts for kids, a silent auction, demos, music, a costume contest, and take a stroll through our various vendors and exhibitors! Over 500 people and 300 pets participated every year before COVID. Well, we are back to having fun in 2021!

Why Mardi Paws?

Nothing says party like Mardi Gras and we have many reasons to celebrate! Each year, the Society provides services for over 3,700 animals. Each animal is examined, evaluated, given appropriate vaccinations and dewormings, microchipped, spayed/neutered, treated for ailments and injuries as needed, and given a comfy place to lay their heads. There is no time limit for pets in our care and after they pass our health and behavior screening, they will remain in our care as long as necessary until they find their perfect match.

But our work is not done! Please consider supporting this event with a donation today! OR start your own fundraiser to support this event!
