Overdose Awareness Day 2026

Each year, Harm Reduction Sisters commemorates International Overdose Awareness Day with a free, community-wide event featuring live music and entertainment, games, local resources, overdose response education, a community meal, and is an opportunity and invitation for our community to celebrate the lives of those lost to overdose and envision a brighter path forward for our community. This event brings hundreds of folks from across the Twin Ports and is growing each year. 

This year, we are so excited to have Sam Rivera (Executive Director of OnPoint NYC and one of Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” in 2023) as our keynote speaker! 

This event is an opportunity and invitation for our community to celebrate the lives of those lost to overdose and envision a brighter path forward, bringing together hundreds of folks from across the Twin Ports and growing each year.
