In the past 12 months, Eastside Meals on Wheels (EMoW) served over 48,800 meals (125% more than served in 2018). In the last month, EMoW served 185 clients (97% more than 2018).
Our program saw 40 years of growth overnight due to the pandemic. The number of older adults we are serving has remained high, in reflection of the growing size of the senior population.
Your donation helps Eastside Meals on Wheels provide nutritious meals in Northeast Minneapolis, Southeast Minneapolis, and St. Anthony Village.
We serve adults sixty years of age or older who cannot prepare or shop for their own adequate meals. We never deny meals for those who qualify, regardless of their ability to contribute towards the cost.
