For more than 50 years, the Animal Care Foundation has been a lifeline for vulnerable pets and the people who love them across our five-county service area.

From providing financial assistance for essential veterinary care to families facing financial hardship, to partnering with dedicated clinics that deliver pro bono and supplemental services, ACF plays a vital role in keeping pets healthy. Through this support, pets can remain safe and at home where they belong. This year alone, we’ve supported over 40 families who might otherwise have had nowhere to turn—keeping pets out of shelters, preventing unnecessary suffering, and strengthening the human–animal bond in our community. 

Your support ensures:

• Senior pets are not surrendered because their family cannot afford the medical care they need.  This keeps families together and allows rescues to focus on the cases where there isn't someone already loving and caring for the animal.
• Pets stay in the homes where they are loved so they and their families do not experience the heartbreak of splitting up.  Many ACF clients share that their pet is what kept them going during the hardest times of their life and the reason they keep getting up each day.
• Pets are not living in pain from treatable issues and are able to cross over peacefully when the time arrives.
