Centennial Middle School Student Council Powerpack

The Centennial Middle School Student Council is sponsoring a school wide Powerpack food drive. When you donate, please add your child's name and Team in order to have donation count towards the class prize. Thank you!

The Powerpack program provides food on the weekends during the school year to the students experiencing food insecurities in the home. The packs are handed out confidentially such that the privacy of each student is respected.

Powerpack is a non-profit, 501c3 organization under the Centennial Community Food Shelf. Donations are tax deductible.

Hunger is known to have a negative impact on learning.

By mitigating food insecurity, Powerpack has an impact that contributes towards improved school performance and academic success in the students Powerpack serves.

All donations collected are used to purchase food for the packs. Powerpack is 100% volunteer run.

Each pack costs about $2.50. 

The goal this year is to raise $500 plus collect enough food to create  150 packs. Each pack contains: 

   2 Breakfast  (example: cereal boxes, breakfast bars)

   2 meal items (Mac N cheese; chef boy meals)

   1 fruit item (applesauce, fruit cups)

   4-5 snacks (granola bar, popcorn, cheese & crackers)
