Nova Classical Academy

Why your contribution matters

Our school is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment that provides each student the resources, support, and academic challenge needed to reach the highest levels of academic excellence. This fall, the US Department of Education named Nova Classical Academy’s Upper School (Grades 6-12) a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School as an “Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing School.” 

As a public charter school in Minnesota, we receive only state funds, unlike traditional districts which have the option of levying local taxes to meet rising costs to operate. In fact, we receive $6,900 (38%) less per student than traditional districts to provide a college-preparatory education to each student. Help us continue to narrow the funding and achievement gap and donate today!  

Towards this goal, we are raising funds to put towards:

• Uniforms, activity, and field trip fees for families of demonstrated need
• A new buddy bench for our playground
• A scoreboard and signage on the turf field to enhance our sense of school pride and community
