Bloomington Community Foundation 

Established by Bloomington residents on November 2, 1989, the Bloomington Community Foundation (BCF) has remained dedicated to creating lasting community impact.

Our Mission, Vision and Values are: 

• Mission Statement: We build bridges to support and cultivate inclusive and productive partnerships.
• Vision Statement: An inclusive community working together for a strong, connected, and livable Bloomington.

The Bloomington Community Foundation is committed to strengthening our community by focusing on three key priority areas:

1. Public Safety

To build a safer Bloomington by investing in programs and partnerships that protect residents, businesses, and the broader community while strengthening the health, wellness, resilience, and readiness of public safety personnel facing the physical, mental, and emotional demands of their work.

 2. Youth and Families
 To invest in Bloomington's youth and families by partnering with nonprofit organizations, schools, and community stakeholders to provide resources, opportunities, and support systems that enable young people and families to learn, grow, and thrive.

3. Business Development and Economic Vitality
To foster a strong and prosperous business environment by supporting educational programs, essential services, workforce development, and public safety initiatives that help local businesses succeed and contribute to Bloomington's economic growth.
