With your help Perspectives can provide mothers and their children dealing with addiction, trauma, homelessness, and poverty the lifesaving resources they need to change their lives and in some instances save lives.

We honor ourselves when we speak out for recovery. We show the world that recovery matters because it brings hope and peace into the lives of individuals, their loved ones, and generations to come.  HEALING IS POSSIBLE

Perspectives depends on our donors to help us provide our lifesaving services to underserved mothers and their children to overcome these challenges and access pathways created to improve their quality of life and bring hope for a brighter future.

WE KNOW HOME IS THE STARTING PLACE OF LOVE, EMPOWERMENT, AND TOTAL FAMILY RECOVERY.  

After a lifetime of being exposed to traumatic experiences, a mother’s chances of replicating that same cycle of trauma with her child(ren) are incredibly high. We have shown from our 45 years of work that we can disrupt that cycle through intervention and removing barriers. 

Our mothers share that they and their children, “...just never had a chance.” Until they arrived at Perspectives.

Our Approach

Return our mothers and their children emerging from homelessness and addiction back to the economic and social mainstream.

Increase access to trauma-informed substance and mental health services for our mothers and children through the implementation of on-site services.

Provide programming to ensure that pregnant residents have all the necessary resources to ensure a healthy baby.

Remove barriers for underserved children and youth through trauma-informed and social-emotional academic, nutritional, and mental health programming

Provide reunions between mothers and children.

Educate children through trauma-informed ECE Development Programming.
