Greater Mankato Area United Way, Inc.

A nonprofit organization

Will you help us find the path for change by giving today?

Greater Mankato Area United Way's mission is to unite the community to secure and invest resources to improve people's lives by focusing on the impact areas of Basic Needs, Health and Education. By keeping these three pillars strong and balanced, we can continue to build a better tomorrow for our region.

In 2024, we are working to raise $2,250,000 to support 62 programs within 43 agencies throughout our service area of Blue Earth, Le Sueur, Nicollet, and Waseca counties. More than 90 community volunteers thoroughly vet each program during our annual review process to ensure your dollars are used wisely. Your gift makes it possible for United Way-funded programs to serve more than 60,000 people in our region annually.

“Greater Mankato Area United Way is more than a charity; it is a beacon of hope, a driving force for change, and a unifying foundation for our community. This community-led work cannot be done without the support of each and every one of us. It is up to us to come together, to open our hearts and contribute in whatever way we can." – Alissa Brekke, 2024 Campaign Chair
